Getting Credentialed/Recredentialed
Info for New Providers
Start the process 90 days before start date
Required application method: Online portal sent from Med Staff Office
Average Processing Time: 6 weeks for initial credentialing, 2-4 weeks for MEC Approval
We can’t start the process until have Idaho Residency.
Recredentialing
Need to get recredentialed every 2 years
Providers will be notified via email, phone call to office
What delays the process the most: Missing documents, expired licenses, not turning in the minimum peer references (we need at least 2 of the 3 to proceed), malpractice insurance (2-4 weeks) needs Madisonhealth on bottom.
If we don’t get these items we can’t proceed.
